A pump that adjusts itself to maintain the flow your pool needs — instead of running at one speed you picked once and never changed.
A smart inverter pool pump measures what is happening in your plumbing and changes its own motor speed to hold a target flow rate. A traditional variable-speed pump holds a speed you selected; an inverter pump in Auto-Inverter mode holds a result. As your filter loads up and resistance rises, the pump compensates instead of quietly moving less water.
AquaLit installs the Moov MP2AI 2.0 THP inverter pump with professional installation under standard conditions — removal of the old pump, plumbing adaptation, electrical reconnection, commissioning, flow configuration, Wi-Fi pairing and a walkthrough.
In Auto-Inverter mode the MP2AI detects system pressure and adjusts motor speed to reach the flow you configured. It also performs self-learning to work out the usable hydraulic range for your specific pool, and can repeat that learning on an interval you set.
Why this matters: a fixed RPM moves less and less water as your filter gets dirty. Targeting flow means your circulation stays consistent between filter cleanings.
The flagship entry point into pool automation, and for most homeowners the upgrade with the most noticeable day-to-day difference.

Both variable-speed and inverter pumps are large improvements over single-speed. The inverter difference is that it targets a result instead of a setting.
A variable-speed pump lets you choose motor speeds. An inverter pump with Auto-Inverter mode lets you choose the flow rate you want and works out the motor speed needed to deliver it, adjusting as conditions change.
In practice: with a variable-speed pump, a dirty filter means less circulation until someone notices. With an inverter pump targeting flow, the pump compensates.
The MP2AI runs a routine that determines the usable hydraulic range for your specific pool — effectively learning how your plumbing behaves. You can configure how often it repeats this, so the pump stays calibrated as the system changes over time.
Often, yes — circulation is typically one of the largest electrical loads on a pool, and running only as hard as needed uses less than running at full output on a timer.
We will not guarantee a percentage. Your result depends on your pool's hydraulics, how long you run, and your electricity rate. If a manufacturer publishes a documented figure, we will show you that document rather than making up our own.
Usually because it is a single-speed unit running at full output, or because of cavitation, worn bearings or an air leak on the suction side. An inverter pump running at lower output is dramatically quieter, but if the noise is mechanical, that is a repair conversation before it is an upgrade conversation. We will tell you which one you have.

If you are on a single-speed pump, this is the upgrade we recommend before any other. It runs every day, it dominates the pool's electricity use, and every other system on the pad performs better behind correct, consistent flow.
If you already run a well-programmed variable-speed pump, the inverter difference is real but incremental — we would point your budget at cleaning or climate instead, and say so plainly.
