Regular visits that handle what a pool actually needs: water testing and chemistry correction, skimming and vacuuming, brushing, filter cleaning and backwashing, basket emptying, salt cell checks, and an equipment inspection sharp enough to catch a fault while it is still a small one.
Automation changes what a visit contains, not whether the pool needs one. On an automated pool the same visit shifts toward verification — confirming the sensors, dosing and schedules are doing what they claim — plus the physical work no equipment does for itself.
Every visit
Water and cleaning
The water is tested where it is, not guessed at from last week, and corrected the same visit. The physical cleaning is the part owners feel first when it slips.
Water testing and chemistry correction
Skimming, vacuuming and brushing
Waterline and tile-line attention
Basket emptying and debris removal
Chemical replenishment, including for automated systems
Every visit
Equipment and early warning
The cheapest repair is the one caught while it is still a seal, not a motor. Inspection is a standing part of the visit, not an add-on.
Filter cleaning and backwashing on schedule
Pump, heater and salt system inspection
Sensor cleaning and calibration checks
Small faults flagged with photos before they grow

A record you can read
Our customer portal shows the worklog from each visit, chemistry readings over time, service history, installed equipment and warranties. You stop wondering what your pool service actually did.
Technician worklog for every visit
Chemistry readings over time
Full service history and installed equipment
Email notifications, with SMS on the roadmap
Fit check
A good fit, or not?
Scheduled care makes sense when
You want the pool ready without owning the routine yourself
The pool has had chemistry swings, algae or cloudy spells
Equipment has been replaced reactively rather than inspected
The pool is automated and nobody verifies what it reports
You travel, rent the home out, or simply value the hours back
Tell us honestly if
You enjoy the routine and just want a chemistry consult
You only need a one-off cleanup or storm recovery — we do those as one-off visits, not a subscription
The real problem is failing equipment — that is a repair first, and service second
Questions
Pool care & maintenance FAQ
Most Houston-area pools do best on a weekly visit through swim season — the heat, storms and pollen here are hard on water. An automated pool can sometimes stretch the interval because dosing and circulation hold steadier between visits, but the physical work and the inspection still need a person on a regular rhythm.
Yes. Most of the pools we care for were built by someone else, and a good share run equipment somebody else installed. If the equipment has problems we will tell you what we found and what it needs — diagnosis first, then the quote.
Two things. Every visit produces a written worklog with the readings, in a portal you can open any time — most route services leave you a door hanger at best. And because automation is our other specialty, we verify smart equipment properly instead of working around it.
Yes — the visit changes character rather than disappearing. Filters still need cleaning, baskets still fill, probes still drift, and equipment still wears. Automation shrinks the task list. It does not empty it, and nobody should tell you otherwise.
Yes. Recovery is a short, intensive sequence — diagnosis, treatment, filtration and retesting over several days — priced as its own job, and then regular care keeps it from happening again.
AquaLit's recommendation
Start with one honest visit. We test the water, look at the pad, and tell you what the pool actually needs — a schedule, a repair, or nothing yet.
If you are considering automation later, starting with care is the right order: the person who maintains the pool every week is exactly the person who should design what gets automated.

Call or text for a free pool assessment. We look at the pool, the equipment already on your pad and how you actually use the backyard — then tell you what is worth doing and what is not.
Tell us what you have and how you use the pool. We'll walk the equipment pad, ask what you ultimately want controlled, and give you an honest recommendation — including the upgrades we'd skip.
